The annual Long Beach Pride™ Festival is months away, but the organization behind it is already at work.
Long Beach Lesbian and Gay Pride, the nonprofit that has thrown the annual bash for more than 30 years, debuted a new name, logo, mission statement and website on Wednesday, Jan. 15 — the same day early bird tickets for this year’s festival became available.
The organization is now known simply as Long Beach Pride™, a change that President Denise Newman said was sparked by the new decade.
