These Terms of Use govern your use of longbeachpride.com and any page that links to them (the “Site”), operated by Long Beach Lesbian & Gay Pride, Inc. (“Long Beach Pride,” “we,” “us”), a California nonprofit public benefit corporation and 501(c)(3) public charity. By using the Site you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Site.
Using the Site
You may browse, share and link to the Site for personal, noncommercial and community purposes. Please don’t:
- use the Site in a way that breaks the law or infringes anyone’s rights;
- submit false information in an application, donation or form, or apply on someone’s behalf without their permission;
- try to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its accounts or its systems, or interfere with how it runs;
- copy large parts of the Site, scrape it in bulk, or reuse it to imply an endorsement by Long Beach Pride.
Our name, marks and content
Long Beach Pride™, our logos, the annual theme artwork and the photos, text and video on the Site belong to Long Beach Pride or to the photographers, artists and partners who licensed them to us. You may not use our name or marks to suggest sponsorship or endorsement without written permission. Media requests and logo use: info@longbeachpride.com.
The Site’s design and code are the property of HAUS XXIV, LLC (hausxxiv.com) and are licensed to Long Beach Pride.
Applications, tickets and donations
Vendor, parade, sponsor, volunteer, membership and other applications are requests, not confirmations. Each program has its own requirements, deadlines, fees and agreements, such as the Vendor Agreement, and those terms apply alongside these. Donations are processed by our payment partners and are generally non-refundable; if something went wrong with a gift, contact us and we’ll make it right. Tickets and event entry are governed by the terms shown at purchase.
Events and information on the Site
We work to keep event dates, routes, lineups and details accurate, but plans change, especially for outdoor events that depend on city permits. The Site is provided “as is,” and we don’t guarantee that every detail is current or that the Site will always be available. Community Calendar listings from other organizations are shared as a service; those events are run by their hosts, not by Long Beach Pride.
Links to other sites
The Site links to partners, sponsors, ticketing and payment services and social platforms. We aren’t responsible for their content or practices, and their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Long Beach Pride, its directors, members, volunteers and licensors aren’t liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under law that can’t be waived.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.
Changes
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
