Finding a job is hard enough. Finding one where you can be yourself on day one shouldn’t be. That is the idea behind the 2026 DEI Job Fair, presented by Long Beach Pride and co-hosted by Vice Mayor Cindy Allen and the Port of Long Beach.

The fair takes place Saturday, March 7, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Long Beach Pride HQ, 1017 Obispo Ave. We are calling on local businesses to take a booth and meet the people looking for them.

For Employers

The goal is a stronger, more inclusive workforce in Long Beach. Employers get a place to show how they put diversity, equity and inclusion into practice, and to meet candidates face to face.

Vendor booths are free. For $500, a business can reserve a booth and have its logo featured on all promotional materials for the event. Meet Long Beach is already confirmed as a participant.

For Job Seekers

If you are starting your career, switching fields or looking for an employer who understands what diversity means, this fair is for you. Come ready to:

  • Meet employers who support the LGBTQ+ community
  • Explore real job openings in a range of industries
  • Get face time with hiring managers
  • Bring your resume for on-the-spot interviews and career guidance
  • Network with other job seekers and community advocates

Building on 2024

Long Beach Pride hosted its first DEI Job Fair on Jan. 27, 2024, at the same Obispo Avenue address, in collaboration with the LGBTQ Center of Long Beach and with support from the Port of Long Beach, Vice Mayor Cindy Allen and VisitLB. Employers received booth space at no cost, and the fair was free for job seekers. Our President, Tonya Martin, described it this way at the time:

This event is more than just a job fair; it’s a commitment to creating an inclusive environment where organizations and job seekers can connect and thrive.
