The Queen of Reggaeton, who first played our Fiesta Caliente stage in 2008, returns to headline Sunday, May 19, 2024, at the 41st annual Long Beach Pride Festival.
Ivy Queen, the Queen of Reggaeton, will headline Sunday, May 19, 2024, at the 41st annual Long Beach Pride Festival. And it is a return visit: she performed on our Fiesta Caliente stage in 2008, the year Long Beach Pride celebrated its 25th festival.

General tickets went on sale with the announcement, starting at $40 through Eventbrite. The festival runs May 18 and 19, 2024, and the Long Beach Pride Parade, free and open to everyone, takes place on Sunday, May 19. Saturday’s headliner is rapper Saucy Santana.
Our 2024 theme, “The Rhythm of the Rainbow,” is about music as a source of hope and unity, and Ivy Queen fits it naturally.
Her music, celebrated for its compelling narratives and rhythmic vitality, resonates deeply with this year’s theme, ‘The Rhythm of the Rainbow’, emphasizing the cohesive force of music within the LGBTQ+ community and beyond. … Supporting our community members is essential as their advancement signifies our collective progress.
Tonya Martin, President, Long Beach Pride
When we announced the theme in January, Martin put it simply: “We pay homage to the beats that have strengthened our hearts and souls.”
The Puerto Rican singer, songwriter and actress began her career in the mid-1990s and became a leading figure in reggaeton, with hits like “Quiero Bailar” and “La Vida es Así.” Her sound blends Latin rhythms with reggae influences. Her strong, feminist lyrics and commanding presence challenge industry norms. Expect a performance that captures the essence of Pride.
Since 1984, Long Beach Pride has stood with our community through a festival and parade that welcome everyone. We can’t wait to hear “Quiero Bailar” ring out over the shore.
